Bulgur Wheat Chilli

1 Tbsp vegetable oil
½ cup onions
2/3 cup bulgur wheat

Sauté onions in oil then add bulgur wheat. Sauté until slightly toasted.
Add 1½ cup water, cover and simmer 10-15 minutes. Add:

1 cup tomato sauce
2 cups kidney beans
1 Tbsp chilli powder
½ tsp oregano
½ tsp basil
salt & pepper to taste

Heat to serving temperature and add grated cheddar and parmesan to garnish.
